When following the Make it in Design course I got inspired by the home of Rachel Taylor, who is one of the founders of Make it in Design and a successful surface pattern designer. Her home is filled with her designs, from pillows to wallpaper.
It got me inspired to display more of my art in my home. As I said in my previous post I’m thinking about getting this wallpaper for our bedroom. I also found a really nice way of displaying my art in my home though, by using poster hangers!
Last year I used the poster hangers from this super easy DIY project to hang two vintage botanical posters. Instead of hanging a poster though, you can also use fabric!
I totally love the result! You should try it! Check my previous post on how to make these poster hangers. Use your own art (or someone else’s), print it on fabric at a print on demand company like Spoonflower or Motiflow and decorate your wall! Check how my fabric hangers turned out below. Quite nice right?!
